Overall, the game has a lot of replay value, though I wish you had more ability to configure the basic moves you use and quite obviously the instruction manual is horrible. Then the burning moves that they give you to choose from are entertaining as well. I didn't realize it at first, but my frequent wardrobe upgrades helped out with the charisma factor so I would burn quicker. My wife had fun with the buying of the clothes, bling, tattoos and hairstyles. I started off being a submission style (pretty difficult to start with) and then upgraded to kickboxing (pretty sweet) and finally streetfighting (which after kickboxing was kind of a letdown). Then they left and I started playing the single player mode. Team attacks, when you can get them off, are really super. Being able to grab an object from the crowd and break it over your opponent's head is an added bonus. The various styles just work somehow and the environmental attacks are great. With four players the game is just mayhem, especially when you do Free For All mode. Then when they got here we hooked up four controllers and started out with multiplayer and I have to say it is hilarious.Д¬ries of, 'Throw him into the speaker!' and 'Grab the pipe, hit him hit him!' rang out in the room quite frequently. So, until my buddy and some friends came over this past weekend I didn't bother picking up the game. 'Harvey, you gotta get this game, best fighting game in a while!' I want to play the old Super Mario Bros.So my buddy who is into fighting games told me about this game a while ago. Great to see that PS3 hacks have come such a long way. I'm planning on trying others, just to see if they work, soon.

I've only tried playing 1 PS2 title till now cuz that's the only one I'm interested in.The game doesn't seem to have any issues. I've also checked the game compatibility on the PS2 compatibility list on Wiki.I've reinstalled the CFW, re-transferred the game many times, tried different TVs etc.I've tried 2 TVs and when I reboot the PS3, I go back to the XMB menu fine, so it isn't the TV's issue.

I then tried to use the PS2classics app in the PlayStation and followed suit as given thro' the emulator package, the same happened again but at least, PlayStation 2 and the initial Def Jam iconic Loading symbol showed up and then the TV loses connection.

pkg installed fine and the game launches too, it seems to be working fine but my TV loses the video connection. pkg file using the PS2classicsGUI and transferred it using FileZilla and WinSCP (tried both just to get a feel of FTP speeds). I went through everything just to play the Def Jam Fight for NY title, my favorite game on PS2 growing up. Shout-out to the guy, he made it super easy for me.
